Do you do small jobs?
Yes. Small jobs are most of the work. If you've got several, put them all in one request and we'll do them in a single visit, which costs you less than booking twice.
What's your minimum charge?
We don't have one. Plenty of our work is a single small job, and we'd rather do it than turn you away. If you've got several things, put them in one request and we'll do them in one visit.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
It depends on the work. Some jobs make sense by the hour, others as one fixed price. Either way you get the number in writing before anything starts, and it doesn't change unless you add to the job.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured. Ask and we'll send you the certificate before we start.
Is there anything you don't do?
Yes, and we'd rather say so up front. Work that needs a licensed electrician or plumber isn't ours to take on. We'll tell you straight away and point you toward someone who does it properly.
How soon can you start?
It depends on the week and the job. Tell us your timing when you get in touch and we'll give you a straight answer, including if we can't make it work.
Will you clean up?
Yes. Offcuts, packaging and old material leave with us unless you'd rather keep them.
What if something isn't right afterwards?
Tell us and we'll come back and fix it.
